Making an offer

Send us the agreement before you sign

The bottom line

An offer is a contract. Once the seller signs, you are bound. The protection goes in before you sign.

In New Zealand you make an offer by signing the agreement with your price and conditions filled in. If the seller signs it unchanged, that is a binding contract. Everything that protects you, the conditions, the dates, the chattels, the correct buyer name, has to be right in that first version.

Send us the draft before you sign. It usually takes a day, it is free, and we have a weekend process for urgent offers.
