How we actually work with you — in %%three stages%%.
The 3Ps is the framework we use on every first home buyer matter. It maps the journey from pre-offer prep, through conditional progress, to settlement. One page. Three stages. Fixed fee of $600 + GST + expenses instead of hourly billing.

The framework, in three stages.
Each stage has its own tools, checklists, and support — so you always know what to do next and what we're doing in the background.
Prep for the Climb
Pre-offer work: Zoom calls, checklists, free document review, pre-offer conditions and negotiations. Finance confirmed before you bid.
Potential Mountains / Progress

Peak Summited
Settlement and home ownership. Pre-settlement inspection, bank documents, LINZ registration, and keys.
Capped fee — $600 + GST + expenses
Instead of hourly rates at $375 + GST, the 3Ps framework is priced as a capped fee for the pre-offer stage.
Unlimited Zoom calls, a library of checklists and guides, and pre-offer document review at no extra charge.

I built the 3Ps framework after a few hundred first home buyer settlements showed me the same pattern: the hardest part of buying your first home is not knowing what comes next. This guide is the map I hand every new client.

Does the capped fee apply to every purchase?
The capped $600 + GST fee covers the pre-offer (Prep for the Climb) stage. Once you're under contract, fees are priced per matter based on scope — we quote this upfront, not after the fact.
What happens if my offer isn't accepted?
The capped fee still applies. You pay for the pre-offer work done, not for a completed purchase. This is how we stop clients being double-billed when they lose an auction or a deal falls over.
Do I need to commit to HouseMe Legal to use the 3Ps framework?
No. Read the guide, use it with any lawyer. The framework is useful even if you're shopping around.
How does this compare to hourly billing?
A typical first home buyer purchase at hourly rates sits between $2,500 and $5,000 depending on complexity. The 3Ps fixed-fee approach is designed to make the total cost predictable.
